In life, it’s not always about the destination, it’s about the journey. Today is the last Monday of Season 13 at Dancing with the Starsand I can’t believe how fast it has flown by. There’s definitely some sadness in my dressing room, knowing tomorrow is our last day.

Its finale week at Dancing With The Stars, and in a strange way I feel as exhausted as many of the dancers. I remember what the road to the finals was like. Its a thrilling time, physically grueling and indescribably challenging. Everyone is stressed, their bodies are worn out, and just when you feel as though you have nothing left, you are preparing the most difficult and the most important dance of your life. It was a crazy time and here I am again in season 12, but this time I get to cheer on someone else!

I loathe having a television in our bedroom. I don’t like to watch TV before falling asleep. I like to read. My bed partner, however, loves watching TV before bed and claims that he can’t fall asleep without it. That’s a hot steamy pile of turd, because on the few times when he didn’t watch TV, and instead read, he was out like a light in less than 10 minutes.

I’ve often wondered what it would be like if certain famous figures lived in our current times.  One historic icon that has totally inspired me is Eleanor Roosevelt.  She said, “Do something that scares you.”  I quote her in my book, The Naked Mom, because for me, those are words to live by.  I love…
