Taking a summer job is nearly a teen rite of passage. Whether it’s flipping burgers or mowing lawns, many teens enjoy using their time off of school to pad their pockets and build some real-world work experience. While teen summer jobs are still obtainable, they may not be as readily available to today’s teens as they were in decades past, making acquiring one of these sought-after summer positions a bit more of a challenge.

Changing Hats from Mom to CEO & Back

I recently read an article where a WAHM (Work at Home Mom) said that she’s ambitious but feels discriminated against because she’s a mom working from home. I truly feel that when a WAHM is doing business, she shouldn’t be publicizing the fact that shes a WAHM. There’s no need to discuss that with customers, unless that’s part of your marketing plan and it’s important to be completely transparant.
