Dancing With The Stars Recap - Season 13, Week 6
Drama, drama, drama!
It's Broadway week on Dancing with the Stars but theatrics didn't stop with the performances. Longtime DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy got into a heated blowout with head judge Len Goodman after he criticized partner Hope Solo's rumba. "I've been in this business for 50 years," said Len. "Maybe it's time to get out," Chmerkovskiy sniped back.
Want to know what else happened last night? Here are some highlights:
Ricki Lake and J.R. Martinez continue to duke it out at the top of the leaderboard. Lake and partner Derek Hough did an adorable quickstep to Guys and Dolls, while Martinez and Karina Smirnoff showed off some lightning-fast footwork and great energy. Both couples looked like they meant business, tying for first with a nearly perfect score of 29 out of 30.
Nancy Grace gets on my nerves. Seriously, is anyone else sick of watching this woman complain? Here's a recap of Nancy's night: she doesn't get along with her partner (as usual), she doesn't like the choreography (first it's not hard enough, then it's too hard), and she just never looks likes she having any fun. However partner Tristan MacManus turned in a great performance and the judges gave them the third-highest score of the night. Score: 24 out of 30
Carson makes a cameo! A week after he was eliminated, the funny and fabulous Carson Kressley got to come back to the ballroom as a "creative director" for the Broadway group number. Although it sort of just made me miss him more, he had some of the best lines of the night including "If you panic, just do jazz hands."
Here's the full list of scores from the evening:
J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff - 29
Ricki Lake and Derek Hough - 29
Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus - 24
David Arquette and Kym Johnson - 23
Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke - 22
Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy - 20
Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer - 19
