Store Bought Stuffing Turned Homemade
Dressing up a store bought stuffing mix by adding a few extra ingredients is a time-saving way to make everyone's favorite Thanksgiving side dish.
No one will ever know you it came from a box!
Store Bought Stuffing Turned Homemade Recipe
- 1 box store bought stuffing
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup leeks, chopped
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 slices of bread, toasted dark
- Turkey juices
Melt butter in frying pan, add vegetables and cook until softened. Heat boxed stuffing as directed from the box.
Combine softened vegetables, cooked boxed stuffing, toast, and turkey juices from your Thanksgiving turkey.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
