Australian Woman Will Stand Trial for Raping Man
Rebecca Helen Elder was ordered to stand trial in Australia after being accused of breaking into a man's home and raping him.
The 39-year-old appeared in Adelaide's District Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated serious criminal trespass in a place of residence, and one count of rape, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Prosecutors believe that Elder broke into a suburban residence while it's male occupant was lawfully on the premises.
Court documents allege that the break-in was committed with the intention of committing rape, and that Elder performed an act of oral sex without the man's consent.
Following the hearing, she was freed on bail and will appear again in court next month.
