What’s your idea of a typical sweet sixteen birthday party? Bowling, pizza, cake… but definitely not strippers!
A New York woman – Judy H. Viger – has been charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly hiring strippers to perform at her son’s 16th birthday party.
Investigators first became aware of the situation after photos from the event were published online. One photo (shown below) revealed a scantily-clad woman hanging upside down from a seated party guest.
Viger apparently hired the women from a company called Tops in Bottoms to perform in a private room at the Spare Time Bowling Center for her son and the 80 adults and teens attending the party.
A 16-year-old party guest told police that a stripper pulled his shirt up as she gave him a lap dance, bit one of his nipples and scratched his chest.

The company that provided the adult entertainment claims that they were unaware that underage children were in attendance. According to authorities, Tops in Bottoms is in full cooperation with the investigation and does not face any charges.
“The charges stem from an allegation that she endangered not only the welfare of her own child, but the welfare of the 14- and 15-year-old children that were at the birthday party as well,” Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy told the Glens Falls Post-Star.
Viger’s next court date is on March 7. If convicted, she faces up to a year in prison.
