The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled Atico International USA heaters due to a fire hazard. The heaters were sold exclusively at Dollar General Stores.
92,000 TrueLiving Heater Fans and Portable Quartz Radiant Heaters have been recalled. According to the CPSC, Atico has received eight reports of the A14B1053 Heater Fan overheating and 21 reports of the A14B0979 Quartz Heater overheating.
Stop using the heaters immediately (even if you’re cold!) and return them to the Dollar General Store for a refund.
