IKEA Recalls to Repair Cribs Due to Mattress Support Collapse

IKEA has recalled about 20,000 cribs in the United States due to entrapment and suffocation hazards. The four bolts provided with the SNIGLAR cribs to secure the mattress support are not long enough. This can cause the mattress support to collapse, posing a danger to your child.

The recall includes SNIGLAR non-drop-side, full-size cribs with model number 60091931. They were sold in IKEA stores for about $80.

Consumers should stop using the crib immediately and contact IKEA for a free repair kit. IKEA can be reached at (888) 966-4532 or via their website at www.ikea-usa.com.
