Taylor Farms Recalls Grape Tomatoes

Taylor Farms Pacific Inc. is issuing a recall of grape tomatoes because they may have salmonella.

Taylor Farms Pacific is a California-based food supplier for six retail chain stores: Alberton’s, Raley’s, Sam’s Club, Savemart, Signature Café, and Wal-Mart. Currently, this recall applies to 29 brand-packaged salads that are sold at these 6 stores through 13 different states on the west coast.

Those 13 states include: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

If Salmonella is consumed, it can lead to serious illness and sometimes severe damages, including death.

Customers in possession of any of these products should not eat them and return them to the store they were purchased for a full refund. Customers with any questions should call Taylor Farms at 290-835-6300 or contact the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
