Cost Plus World Market Recalls Wooden Animal Drum

Though lead paint recalls aren’t as common as they once were, there are still some toys on the market that don’t comply with the government standards. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled around 1,000 wooden animals drums sold by Cost Plus Inc. Manufactured in China, these toys were recalled due to paint that exceeds the legal level of lead in paint of 90ppm. These were sold between December 2010 and May 2011 for around $7.

Consumers can take the toys back to Cost Plus Work Market for a full refund
