Earlier this month, the news broke that Owen Wilson and his one-time personal trainer Caroline Lindqvist will welcome a child together in early 2014.
And now, a source has confirmed to PEOPLE that the baby is going to be a boy!
It will be the second son for the Free Birds co-star, who also has a two-year-old (Robert Ford) with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell.
While Wilson and Lindqvist are not together, the 44-year-old dad is said to be “very excited” about the baby.
“Owen is very involved with the pregnancy,” a source told Us Weekly. “He isn’t in a relationship with Caroline, nor do they plan to be in one, but he is very supportive of everything.”
Wilson recently opened up to ModernMom about the challenges of parenting and shared what he called his biggest “dad fail”:
“I take after my dad a little bit,” he said. “My dad was not mechanical and I don’t have that ability to read directions and then put stuff together. I remember my dad with the toaster, he couldn’t even figure out how to turn that off. He’d just have to unplug it.”
