Target Recall Kids’ Frog Masks

Target has issued a voluntary recall for 3,400 frog masks because of potential suffocation hazards, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The child-sized plush masks lack proper ventilation and pose a risk of suffocation when secured on a child’s face. The masks are green with yellow and red highlight and have two eye cutouts and a green elastic band with a fastener. The UPC code 06626491474 is printed on a label attached to the mask. They were sold for about a dollar in Target stores nationwide from August to September of this year.

If you think you have an affected product, you should take it away from your child immediately. Consumers can return the items to any Target store for a full refund. For additional information, contact Target at 800-440-0680 or visit the company’s website at www.target.com.
