Best Buy Recalls 32,000 iPhone Cases

Think your iPhone is super hot stuff? Well, that may not be a figure of speech!

Best Buy is recalling around 32,000 mobile battery cases sold for the iPhone 3G and 3GS after reports of the product overheating.

The Rocketfish Model RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Case is made of black lightweight, soft-touch rubberized material designed to hold the phone and comes with a built-in battery. It was sold exclusively at Best Buy stores nationwide, Future Shop and online from about April 2010 through about September 2011.

Consumers who have one of the affected products should stop using it immediately and contact Best Buy at 800-917-5737 or visit the company’s websites at www.bestbuy.com (US), www.bestbuy.ca or www.futureshop.ca (Canada).
