For the crust…

1 package yellow cake mix

<

1 egg

<

8 Tbsp. butter, melted

For the filling…

1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened

<

1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin

<

3 eggs

<

1½ tsp. vanilla

<

8 Tbsp. butter, melted

<

1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar

<

1 tsp. cinnamon

<

½ tsp. nutmeg

<

½ tsp. ginger

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray the bottom of a 13×9 inch pan with cooking spray.

Step 2

For the crust, combine cake mix and egg in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on low speed until well combined. Slowly add in the butter and continue to mix on low speed until dough has formed. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13×9 inch pan.

Step 3

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter, and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well. Spread the pumpkin mixture over the cake batter and bake for 40-50 minutes. Make sure you do not over bake – center should slightly jiggle.

SASS IT UP!
