Bret Michaels and longtime girlfriend, Kristi Gibson, are engaged!

After 16 years together, Bret proposed to Kristi on the finale of his VH1 reality show, Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, last night.

They immediately told their daughters, Raine, 10, and Jorja, 5, that they would be one big happily family from here on out.

Michaels said that he told his kids, “I did it! We’ll all be together forever! Family hug!”

Love family hugs! Congrats to Bret, Kristi and the girls!
