Amy Poehler’s Sons Teach Her How to Live in the Moment

With two kids under 2 and a hit TV show, Amy Poehler’s life couldn’t be more hectic.

“There’s a certain chaos that is kind of fun. Like when you already have one kid in diapers and all that stuff, you might as well just keep it going,” Amy, 39, tells PopEater.

The Parks and Recreation star refers to her energetic sons — Archie, 2, and Abel, 8 months — as “double A batteries” and admits that sometimes her household is “total madness.”

“You really, really learn the lesson of just living in the moment because you just can’t plan anything,” she explains. “Kids just really teach you to just enjoy this now because five minutes from now, you could be losing it.”
