Amazon started selling diapers for Proctor and Gamble through product pages on Facebook last week. It's as easy as clicking on the "shop now" tab on the Pampers Facebook fan page and using your Amazon account to buy diapers through Facebook.
As of now, Facebook is not collecting any fees from either Amazon or Pampers, but this is likely to change. As more and more companies begin to sell products through their individual fan pages, Facebook will probably start taking a cut.
This is yet another example of how Facebook is increasing revenue in whatever ways they can! But, who can blame them? With the anouncement of a new Twitter CEO Monday, it's likely Twitter is hopping on the badwagon and looking for ways to diversify its' revenue streams and increase profits, too!
