Billionaire real estate investor Donald Trump revealed Tuesday that he is considering making a presidential bid in 2012.
"For the first time in my life, I'm actually thinking about it (running for president)," Trump told Fox News.
The 64-year-old mogul believes the economy is in the hole because "the United States doesn't really make things anymore."
Even though Trump is a self-proclaimed Republican, he didn't rule out possibly running under the banner of the Tea Party, a conservative movement often viewed as a sub-group of the Republican Party.
"I am a Republican but have great respect for what the Tea Party has done because they have brought to light what's going on. I mean, we have trillion-dollar deficits. … The country is going bankrupt, let's face it," he said.
While Trump is an extremely successful businessman, does he have the qualifications to be the next president? Will he be hired or "fired"?
