Angelina and Brad Will Act Less, Parent More in the Future

After years in Tinsel Town and a wildly successful career, Angelina Jolie announced in an interview with The Financial Times that she and hubby Brad Pitt will slowly be easing out of acting.

"As Brad and I get older we’re going to do fewer films," she explained, according to The Wrap. "I’ve been working for a long time, he’s been working for a long time, we’ve had a nice run and don’t want to be doing this our whole lives… I don’t love it as much… I love being a mom."

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise. For a woman who loves to adopt children and obviously ranks her motherly duties as a top priority, the gradual decrease in work will allow her to devote to the six loves of her life–her children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie cites maturity as one of the reasons acting just doesn’t appeal to her as much these days. “I’m older and I know who I am, and I’m less interested in the character helping me answer something than in being able to answer it for myself, as a woman, as an adult, with my family."

To the delight of all of her movie fans, we won’t be able to get rid of Angelina too fast! She’ll be starring in "Cleopatra" soon, and her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" is set to premiere in December.
