Celebrity Mom BFFs

We all have that inner circle, those best girlfriends who are always there for us, ready and willing to wear a hideous bridesmaid dress or just lend a shoulder to cry on. And celebrities are no exception – in fact, given the stress and craziness of Hollywood, they probably need that support more than ever.

Here are three celebrity moms and their famous friends:

Natalie Portman & Britney Spears

It may seem like an unlikely pairing, but the “Black Swan” actress and the pop-star princess have been pals for years. In the ’90s, Natalie Portman and Britney Spears were both understudies for Laura Bell Bundy in the off-Broadway musical “Ruthless.”

Although they didn’t formally meet, they connected a few years later at a listening party for Spears’s album Britney in 2001 and became fast friends. They even co-hosted an intimate New Year’s Eve party the following year in New York.

Another the thing the two have in common – they both have little boys! Spears has two sons – Sean Preston and Jayden James – with ex-husband Kevin Federline. And Portman has a two-year-old Aleph, with husband Benjamin Millepied.

Jennifer Lopez & Leah Remini

It’s no secret that J. Lo and Leah Remini are super tight. The singer and the “King of Queens” actress have been spotted together for years. They go shopping, they grab lunch, they have girl talk – who says celebrities aren’t just like us?

“She’s a fabulous girl. I’m fabulous to hang out with,” Remini told PEOPLE.

But they don’t just do the girly stuff – Remini stopped by the hospital to visit Lopez after the birth of her twins, Max and Emme, in 2008.

Kate Hudson & Liv Tyler

Since their meeting during the filming of the romantic comedy “Dr. T and the Women” in 2000, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler have been best buds. Maybe it’s because they both have famous parents, or maybe it’s because they married rockers (Hudson to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson and Tyler to Spacehog’s Royston Langdon), whatever the reason, these ladies are longtime friends.

Hudson and Tyler also had their first children around the same time, and the kids have get together regularly for playdates.  Tyler has one son – Milo William Langdon, and Hudson has two – Ryder Russell Robinson and Bingham Hawn Bellamy (with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy.

The pair even gets ready for events together. “We have this little ritual where we meet at 2 or 3 o’clock and we drink champagne and do hair and makeup and take pictures,” Tyler told MSN.
