Kim Novak, 77, best known for her role in the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock thriller "Vertigo", was diagnosed with breast cancer recently.
"It was caught early by a routine yearly mammogram, and [she] is undergoing treatment. All her doctors say she is in fantastic physical shape and should recover very well," Sue Cameron tells the Hollywood Reporter.
The legendary screen queen was a box office smash in the 1950s, but gave up her Hollywood lifestyle to be with veterinarian hubby Bob Malloy on a peaceful 240-acre ranch in Oregon. Novak is expected to make a full recovery.
