Thousands Evacuated as Typhoon Megi Nears China

At least 160,000 people have been evacuated from southern China Thursday as Typhoon Megi continues at full throttle. Forecasters predict the storm to hit somewhere along China's coastline late Friday or early Saturday.

Megi, one of the most powerful storms to hit the region in years, has already taken 27 lives and destroyed countless buildings in the Philippines and is only showing signs of intensification.
