Gisele Defends Tom Brady, Takes a Dig at His Teammates

Gisele Bündchen is saying what Patriots fans everywhere are thinking after the team’s heartbreaking loss in the Super Bowl last night to the Giants:

“My husband cannot f*cking  throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time,” the supermodel said in a video captured by theinsider.com. “I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

The dig was most likely aimed at wide receiver Wes Welker, who dropped an easy pass in the final minutes of the game.

But regardless of who was to blame for the loss, Gisele’s comment couldn’t have made Tom Brady too happy. This is a guy who is consistently gracious in defeat – in fact, his own response to questions about Welker’s mistake was the following:

“He went up to try to make it, as he always does, and we just couldn’t connect. He’s a hell of a player. I’ll keep throwing him the ball for as long as I possibly can. He’s a phenomenal player and teammate and I love that guy.”

Wonder if things will get a little icy in the locker room once everyone hears about Tom’s wife trashing his teammates?
