Halloween came early in Los Angeles. On Sunday, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times’ 18th Annual Halloween Carnival did it again! Sponsored by JAKKS Cares, the philanthropic arm of JAKKS Pacific, Inc., this event was fun for all and benefited an amazing cause.

With a big turn out of celebs and their families – think Rick Fox, Debi Mazar, Lisa Vidal, Michael Chiklis, Alison Sweeney, Mehki Phifer, Alyson Hannigan, Gilles Marini, Billy Bush, Samantha Harris, Blake Lewisand incredible food, games, rides, entertainment, arts and crafts, Halloween costumes – even story time, oh, and did I mention the toys? JAKKS donated 10,000 toys for this amazing carnival. Kids of all ages won tickets to redeem prizes and could donate the toys back to the kids at Camp Ronald McDonald – loved that!

The Carnival, which raises money for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, has grown exponentially over the last 17 years, raising more than $7 million through ticket sales for this annual event. Children with cancer and their families attended the carnival as well as many volunteers who had once been campers at the special family camp.

Proceeds from the carnival will help provide medically supervised year-round, cost-free sleep-away Camp programs for  children with cancer and their families. Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times provides fun, friendships and a place to renew their spirits.  For more than 28 years, Camp has been able to offer these services all through donations and fundraising events such as this.
