Could Britain's Prince William and longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton finally be ready to tie the knot? We hope so!
A royal expert told People that the Prince will likely propose to Middleton in February 2011. "There won't be an announcement before Christmas because William has got to ask the Queen first," says longtime royal watcher Ingrid Seward. "And they will get married soon after."
The private couple have been dating for eight years and still show up to and leave from events separately. A new round of rumors was sparked, however, when the two appeared together at a friend's wedding on October 23rd. They even strolled out of the church afterward in front of dozens of waiting photographers! Could this have been a hint to the rest of the world that weddings are on their brains…this time one of their own?
"There's a sense this is the beginning, we may as well get used to seeing Kate in the royal arena," says Ken Wharfe, the former bodyguard for William's mother, the late Princess Diana. "As if this were a rehearsal."
