Gisele’s “Glam” Breastfeeding Photo Has Everyone Buzzing!

She’s certainly not shy about sharing her mommy moments…

Everyone is talking about a photo that Gisele Bundchen posted on Instagram today, of her breastfeeding her baby girl Vivian while getting glammed up.
The 33-year-old supermodel sat in a cozy robe, looking every bit beautiful as she nursed her daughter, surrounded by hair and makeup people.
“What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking#gettingready.”
The photo already has more than a hundred thousand likes and comments have been pouring in, voicing support
“Love this picture. Beautiful.”
“You
do the best for your baby! Keep on rocking! It’s great that you show it
in public and show that you can look wonderful when you breastfeed,
don’t have to give up your work, that it is normal and you can
breastfeed whenever you have to.”
“I
love that you are still nurturing your baby in the most natural way
possible despite the demands of your busy schedule. From one
breastfeeding mommy to the next, I applaud you!”
However, not all the comments were positive. Denise Albert of TheMoms.com told Good Morning America that breastfeeding is “a very personal choice” and called the post obnoxious” and “a little outrageous.”
Others took issue with the photo for portraying an unrealistic image of motherhood.
“That’s not multitasking! She’s being multitasked upon,” said TODAY’s Natalie Morales.
Bundchen, who is married to NFL super star Tom Brady, is an outspoken advocate about the benefits of breastfeeding.
She caused a stir back in 2010, when she told Harper’s Bazaar UK that she thought “there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.” She later apologized, saying, “I’m not here to judge. … I think as mothers we are all just trying our best.”
What do you think? Do you give this photo a big thumbs up or is it an overshare?
