The Space Shuttle Discovery launch originally set for Monday, Nov. 1st has been delayed at least until Thursday, Nov. 4. The backup controller for Discovery's main engine no.3 did not turn on as expected, said NASA.

NASA's mission management team has plans to meet Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST to review progress and make a decision as to whether Discovery should be launched on Thursday.

Discovery is planned to fly its 39th and final mission to deliver spare parts to the International Space Station.
