Disco Queen Donna Summer Dies at 63

The queen of disco has passed away at the age of 63, according to reports.

Legendary singer Donna Summer,  best known for hit songs such as “Hot Stuff,” “Bad Girls” and “MacArthur Park,” died after a battle with cancer, TMZ reported.

The five-time Grammy winner was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the US Billboard charts.

She continued topping charts into the 1980s, with hits like “She Works Hard for the Money” and“This Time I Know It’s for Real.”

She is survived her husband, singer and producer Bruce Sudano, their daughters, Brooklyn and Amanda and Summer’s daughter, Mimi, from a previous marriage.
