Soul singer Aretha Franklin announced Thursday that she has cancelled all of her appearances until May 2011 on the order of her doctor.
The multiple Grammy winner who famously sang at Obama's inauguration was hospitalized on October 30 for undisclosed reasons.
"I would like to thank my friends, fans and supporters for all the beautiful flowers and their many well wishes," Aretha said in a statement.
Aretha, whom Rolling Stone named the greatest singer of all-time in 2008, canceled two shows in August after breaking two ribs in a fall on stage.
She's 68-years-old and still at it!
Take it easy and get better, Aretha!
