On Tursday night, federal and state agents discovered a 1800-foot tunnel between Sam Diego and Tijuana, Mexico that housed 30 tons of marijuana, valued at $20 million.
The tunnel had lighting, ventilation, drainage and a rail system, U.S. officials said. It connected a warehouse in an industrial area in San Diego with a similar building in Tijuana.
The tunnel was the 75th to be uncovered in the last four years, most of those along the California and Arizona borders with Mexico.
The feds say it was obviously the work of drug cartels, not just a "mom-and-pops ooperation."
