Last night marked part one of Dancing with the Stars‘ two
night finale – and we have to say the level of competition we’ve seen this
season might just be most impressive yet!
Going into the finale, four couples remained:
Amber Riley and Derek Hough
Bill Engvall and Emma Slater
Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff
Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke
The pairs performed freestyle routines that wowed the judges
– but at the end of the night, one couple had to be sent home.
Who remains to compete for the coveted Mirrorball trophy in
tonight’s exciting finale conclusion and who was asked to hang up their dance
The couple that was eliminated at the end of Monday’s show
was – Bill Engvall and Emma Slater.
“I feel wonderful. I feel proud,” Engvall told Us
Weekly. “Like Emma said, when you get this close you’re not human if
you’re not looking at the trophy, but we won. We won in so many ways.”
ModernMom’s Brooke Burke, who co-hosts the show, shared a pic of Engvall from the ballroom with the caption “Miss you already.”
Who do you think will be crowned champion of Season 17? Don’t miss the second part of the finale event tonight at 9 on ABC!
