Camp Shining Stars

Camp Shining Stars is a coed weight-loss camp for teens between the ages of 12 and 18. This camp is located on the campus of North Carolina’s Barton College. It offers an assortment of summer weight-loss opportunities. The emphasis of this camp is on placing the proper balance between physical activity and nutrition. Campers at Shining Stars eat between 1,700 and 1,800 calories a day. They are supervised by medical professionals who work in conjunction with the camp.
