It looks like congratulations are in order – Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband Daniel Gillies are expecting their first child this fall.
The 33-year-old actress, who is currently filming the second season of TNT’s Perception, shared her big baby news with Us Weekly.
” I’ve been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time,” says Cook, who plays special agent Kate Moretti. “We clearly have a future actor on our hands.”
As for whether the couple is hoping for a certain gender, Gillies joked:
“A lot of people are asking whether I’d prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn’t matter to me — I just can’t wait to meet little Keanu Robocop.”
Cook is probably best known for her role in the hit ’90s film “She’s All That.”

She and Gillies, 37, will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary in August.
Both mom and dad-to-be are certainly going to be busy in the coming months. They’re getting ready for the premiere of Showtime’s Broken Kingdom, which stars Cook and is directed and produced by Gillies.
He will also reprise his role as Elijah Mikaelson in The Originals, a spinoff from The Vampire Diaries that will air on The CW.
