It’s official – casting for the highly-anticipated movie version of “Fifty Shades of Grey” has been finalized!
Author E L James shared the news Monday via on Twitter:
“I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.”
She later added, “The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey”
Johnson, 23, is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. She starred in the recently canceled Fox sitcom “Ben & Kate.”
Hunnam, 33, is best known for his role on “Sons of Anarchy,” as well as this summer’s action flick “Pacific Rim.”
