Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax

First there was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Then came The Cat in the Hat, and most recently we fell in love with Horton Hears A Who! Classic movies based on classic books, adored by kids and adults alike. Because let’s face it – who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss?

Now audiences will have the chance to see another Seussical delight with The Lorax, which will hit theaters this Friday (March 2) in 3-D and IMAX 3-D.

If you’re not familiar with the book, The Lorax is centered around a young boy who discovers a lorax, a fuzzy creature who acts as guardian of his town. In the meantime, the young boy tries to bring trees back to his treeless town, but is unfortunately faced with the evil mayor. Starring Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito, Betty White, the cast just dazzles. And when combined with the beautiful animation, we promise audiences will be on the edge of their seats.

We love the story, not only because of its subtle environmental undertones about taking care of where you live. We love it because it connects our two generations. The message that Dr. Seuss came up with years ago is just as meaningful for kids today: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

And to get you even more excited, we’re celebrating the release of the film with a very special The Lorax Prize Pack that we’re giving away to one lucky reader. Enter here for your chance to win!
