We’re hungrily awaiting the release of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 – the latest animated comedy from Sony. So of course, we jumped at the chance to attend the premiere!
Who was on the red carpet? Anna Faris, Bill Hader, Kristen Schaal and Cody Simpson, whose song “La Dee Dee” is featured in the film’s end credits.
Unlike Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which was based on the popular children’s book of the same name, the sequel is based on an original storyline.
“We flipped our genre,” director Kris Pearn told The Hollywood Reporter. “The first one was a disaster movie, and this one is a monster movie.”
The film is full of foodimals like cucumbirds, watermeloelphants and even hungry tacodiles!
