Laura Ann Freeman Killed in Hollywood Hit and Run

Very sad story. Twenty-one-year-old Laura Ann Freeman was killed in Hollywood Wednesday night by a hit and run driver. Laura had just graduated from fashion school earlier this year.

Laura and her friends were just leaving a concert at the famous Roxy theatre around 11:50pm. They were crossing Sunset Blvd. to reach a taxi when a Bentley hit Laura. She died at the scene. No one else was injured.

The vehicle was found with the engine running along Westmount Drive, west of La Cienega Blvd., a few hours later. Australian businessman Ryan Bowman turned himself in late Thursday.

Bowman, 43, was booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. He is a director of Zeal Entertainment, which owns the rights to the Australian version of "Girls Gone Wild." Alcohol is suspected to have been involved.

Our hearts go out to Laura's family and friends.
