Video games for preschoolers? This could be good!
Sesame Street is launching a line of educational video games for kids aged 3 to 5. Games include Cookie’s Counting Carnival and Elmo’s A-to-Zoo Adventure ($30 to $40), which are available for the Wii and Nintendo DS, and downloadable to your PC.
Playing the games is easy to figure out, and there's even a second controller for Mom or Dad to step in and help when needed. The controllers are even specially crafted for little hands–the Wii version comes with a fuzzy Cookie or Elmo-themed controller sleeve, while the DS version has a jumbo stylus.
Parents can track their little one's progress and even set appropriate limits based on your child’s abilities on the Parent Page.
