Beyonce's steamy new ad for her signature fragrance, Heat, has been banned by the U.K. Advertising Standards Authority from being shown before 7:30pm.
The ad features the singer half-naked, sweaty and touching herself. No doubt, it's sexy…but the U.K. thinks it's TOO sexy for daytime airing.
The company that makes Heat replied to this ban by saying they don't think that the ad is too explicit. They say, it is "intended to reflect the singer Beyoncé's personal 'sexy chic' style." And, while there are close calls where you think Beyonce might expose it all, the company says, "overtly graphic or explicitly sexual and at no point was Beyoncé naked."
An advertising watchdog organization in the U.K. said, "We considered that Beyoncé's body movements and the camera's prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children."
Do you think Beyonce's commercial is too sexy to air? Would you let your kids watch it?
