Twenty-nine-year old Australian twin sisters in the U.S. on cultural exchange visas may have made a bizarre suicide pact.

Authorities discovered the two women at a shooting range outside of Denver, Colorado with gunshot wounds to the head. One sister was killed and the other was moved from critical to serious condition in a nearby hospital. The sister that survived is considered to be in too grave of a state to be questioned.

The women had spent about 90 minutes at the range, each firing a small-caliber handgun they'd rented at practice targets, when both dropped to the ground simultaneously.

Authorities are still trying to discover if what happened was a double suicide, murder-suicide or just a tragic accident.
