Arizona Beauty Queen Kumari Fulbright Gets Prison Time

Former Miss Arizona contestant Kumari Fulbright was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison for masterminding the kidnap and torture of her ex-boyfriend.

The 28-year-old former law school student was additionally sentenced to six years probation. She pleaded guilty last year to conspiracy to commit kidnapping and aggravated assault in a plea agreement.

Kumari was arrested in December 2007 with three other men in connection to a brutal attack on Joshua Conway, who was slashed, beaten and held at gunpoint for 10 hours before escaping.

Kumari was named Miss Pima County in 2005 and Miss Desert Sun in 2006.

Maybe these beauty contests should consider a psych evaluation for their contestants..
