What is said to be the best meteor shower of the year is starting tonight! The Geminid meteor shower promises 50 – 80 meteors per hour with potentially 120 at its peak.

You can watch between December 12 and the 16th, but the night of December 13th and 14th is, according to NASA, the anticipated peak.

Not only will this be cool to watch, you can stay up super late (11:00 pm to 5:00 a.m. EST) on December 13th and chat with meteor experts from NASA who will answer questions in real-time as meteors zip across the sky.

This is something you don’t want to miss. So, put on your coat, grab a blanket and get outside. Prepare to be amazed!
