She'll tease you when you need to lighten up and cut you or others a break when you need it. She is your best friend.

Balance

Balance is about finding equilibrium, it is about making the right decisions and choices for yourself and your family. It involves not losing sight of the woman behind the scenes and never losing touch with the woman inside. Balance is the way you maneuver through the many important roles you play in the lives of your children, friends, family, and significant others.

Relevance

Relevance is about the embracing the spirit of today. It is about fashion, exercise, food trends,technology, parenting philosophies, and everything else that touches your world. Most of all, it is about being aware. It is about keeping an open mind and learning from the advice and experience of friends, mentors, and experts. It is about taking what you know and sharing it with the world.

Consciousness

Consciousness is about being acutely in touch with your feelings, your body, and your brood. It is being attuned to your surroundings and the world around you. It is about knowing the impact of your actions on the beautiful but fragile ecosystem you have created. A conscious woman knows that the only real constant is change, and that change is an opportunity that needs to be seized.

Who are we?

Brooke Burke, Co-CEO

As a mother of four children with a hectic work schedule, Brooke Burke is truly a ModernMom. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Brooke Burke has had a distinguished career as a model, actress, and entrepreneur. Brooke won the 7th season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars in front of an estimated audience of 20 million people, establishing herself as one of America's favorite moms. She currently hosts Dancing with the Stars. She is also recognized worldwide for her roles as the host of E! Wild On, RockStar INXS, and Rockstar Supernova.

She has been equally successful as an entrepreneur, having launched her retail brand Baboosh Baby featuring her hero product called "tauts." As a true Modern Mom should, Brooke carves out time to focus on herself and her growing family. She enjoys spending time with her four children, doing yoga, pilates, the "Core Secrets" ball workout, taking long walks along mountain trails or secluded beaches, preparing gourmet holiday meals for her family and friends, and catching movies and plays.

Lisa Rosenblatt, Co-CEO

A successful entrepreneur and mother of three, Lisa Rosenblatt is a true internet pioneer. As the co-founder of iMALL in 1994 she developed the world's first online shopping mall, giving small merchants access to consumers around the world. With Lisa driving content and operations, iMALL became the leading online sales platform for small businesses and was sold to Excite@Home for $565M.

Lisa had her first child in 1997 and put that same energy into raising her 3 children. Returning to the business world as Co-CEO of Modern Mom is a dream for Lisa as she has spent the last ten years searching for a destination on the Web where forward thinking Moms can get information, be inspired, and meet other similar motivated moms. Lisa was born and raised in Southern California and has a Masters in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education to go with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development.
