Clean baby toys quickly with a baby wipe when you are out and do not have access to a sink. Use wipes to clean dropped toys or stroller toys, or give the baby another toy until you can properly clean the dirty one.

  2. Step 2

Clean teething toys and other toys which baby has mouthed using hot water and dish detergent. Hand wash the toys in the sink or use a plastic dishwashing tub designated for this purpose only.

  3. Step 3

Combine equal parts distilled white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Label the bottle. Spray the mixture on toys and let set for 15 minutes. Dry off the toys.

  4. Step 4

Use a new scrubbing sponge to removed caked or hardened food or unidentifiable objects from baby's hard plastic toys or wooden toys.

  5. Step 5

Wash stuffed animals and other fabric toys in the washing machine using hot water. Use a washing machine net to keep small toys from being lost in the dishwasher.

  6. Step 6

Cleanse toys naturally using one quart of warm water combined with 4 tbsp. of baking soda.
