How to Host a Princess Birthday Party

  1. Step 1

Make invitations for your princess birthday party. Provide all the party information and encourage your guests to come in their royal finery. Choose a calligraphy-style font and print the party invitation landscape style on parchment paper. Decorate your invitations with rubber stamps or printed clip art. Roll each invitation into a scroll. Tie with ribbon and add bells or beads to the ends of the ribbon.

  2. Step 2

Prepare party favors. Classic party favors, including candy, stickers and small toys, are good choices; however, you can also make party crowns. Posterboard is a good choice for the crowns, but felt or fun foam can also be used. Buy precut crowns or cut out your own crowns. Glue a band of elastic to the back of each crown using a hot glue gun. Decorate the crowns before the party or allow the girls to decorate their own.

  3. Step 3

Make a party castle. Stop by a local appliance store and get a refrigerator box. Use a box cutter to cut the box into a castle shape, adding doors and turrets. Spray paint with white, pink or purple for the princess party. Decorating the castle with markers, flower cut outs, paints, glitter glue and foam stickers can be a great party activity for little or bigger princesses at your party.

  4. Step 4

Prepare a throne for the royal guest of honor at your princess party. Decorate a chair with cushions, balloons and ribbon. You could even purchase an inexpensive thrift-store chair and paint it for the party.

  5. Step 5

Set the princess party table with gold or silver paper plates and cups. Glue jewels onto the cups for a royal touch. Serve princess-themed cake or cupcakes, either homemade or purchased.
