Well, I’ve become that mom - except with my puppy.

Several months ago, I posted that my children were lobbying for a dog. I got great feedback, tips and opinions from dog lovers and haters alike.

How, even if you’re a citizen, on some days, you threaten your kids with deportation. As he tells it, John Unger's dog saved his life. Several years ago, after separating from his fiancé, he started to experience depression and began having thoughts of suicide.
