True wholesale diamond prices are not generally offered to the public, according to the PriceScope website. Diamond wholesale vendors work with jewelry retailers, providing products for the retailer to sell to customers. In general, wholesale prices are low enough for the retailer to include his mark-up to the public, yet high enough for the wholesaler to make a profit. Understanding the process of purchasing wholesale diamonds will help streamline your business and your bottom line.

Are you the breadwinner in your relationship? Are you making more money than your husband? Are you frustrated and resentful, or are you proud and grateful? Could you be with a man if you were the one working and bringing home the bacon, and he was the one organizing playdates and park excursions? I’ve wanted to do a blog post on this topic for some time… they’re called Alpha Wives, or Breadwinning Wives. And they exist in large numbers today.
In my ongoing quest to become even more frugal -- yes, I can be more frugal! -- I have been doing research on items that you can make yourself rather than buying them. Here is a list of items that you might want to give a try.
Do you sleep with your pet? Well, you’re not alone. According to a recent survey of pet owners by the American Pet Products Association, nearly half of all dogs sleep in their owner’s beds. Additionally, 62% of cats also sleep with their owners. What could be better than curling up next to your furry little friend and being gently awakened in the morning by a little nuzzle? It happens all the time, starting a business with a close friend sounds like a lot of fun...but it's not always wine and roses. Priorities change and two people may soon have two completely different visions for the company long term. I've been to the school of hard knocks in regard to partnership, and I've seen it destroy others' friendships over the years. So, think long and hard before going into a partnership and if you decide to move forward, be sure you have plans in place for things like an exit strategy if one partner wants out, financing the biz issues, time commitments etc. In my book, Your Idea, Inc. I have a survey that's helpful to discuss with a potential partner before starting a business so as not to end a wonderful friendship but as a starting point, I recommend lots of dicsussion!
Congratulations! You’ve finally found the one. Tall, dark, handsome…no, wait a minute. This one is more of the white picket fence and center hall variety " a house and it’s yours! No more virtual tours, open houses, and calls from your realtor proclaiming “I’ve found it!” You have now joined the ranks of proud homeowners across the country. Pop the cork, cross the threshold, and take a seat on your new couch. You might need a seat when the excitement wears off and you realize that this is (gulp) the biggest purchase you have ever made. But don’t panic yet. With a little preparation and guidance you can navigate the world of the new homeowner with your sanity and your savings intact.
At the beginning of the year I made a few goals, and I am not calling them resolutions! So far, I have been successful at one of them (I won't share the failures- I still have 7 months to turn them around). My success has been saving money on groceries. I have always clipped coupons, but truthfully did not really "get into" the whole idea of saving money with coupons the "right way".
