This year, we're working really hard to budget wisely (and most importantly - stick to it!). As a family, we have had our share of ups and downs, but we’re learning as we go and getting better. Planning ahead is uber-important when it comes to budgeting. Each year after the holidays come and go, I add up all the expenses- from gifts, extra food & baking, decorating, cards, wrapping, and a few holiday party outfits (how do they always find their way in there?) :).
Cecilia Cassini is about to take over the fashion world. And she's only 11. That's right, we might have another Coco Chanel or Donna Karen in our midst. This young fashion mogul has had a passion for clothes since she was a baby. She's been called "brilliant," "crazy talented" and "a prodigy," by the media and those in the business. ModernMom got a chance to talk with Cecilia about following her dreams- and we loved what she had to say.
Do your kids need some inspiration? Share Cecilia's story with them for a little motivation:

What you didn't see, what I'll miss, and what I'll never forget!
The REAL champions of season 12. Even if we have to steal the Mirror Ball Trophy!
Summertime calls for bright, cheery colors, but many of the season’s best clothes are neutrals. So, in order to combine both the neutral and bright trends, I created a neutral outfit and used accessories to add two vibrant pops of color.
You probably already know that adding a splash of color is a great way to punch up an outfit, but it can be a little trickier to add two pops of color.
I am so in love with this line, I had to share! Hot new jewelry designer Heather Swerdlow has created a beachy, bohemian-chic collection called Morea Rose Designs.
Mark Ballas, pushing the boundries and killing it as always!
