Kids love dip! And so do Moms and Dads…
Finding new ways to entice my kids to eat healthy foods is part of my job description. You know how it is with kids, one day strawberries are their favorite food, and the next day they hate them. Life with kids is about dancing with the flow, and staying on your toes.
Making your own granola is really easy! Give it a try, I’m certain you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

When I first moved to L.A., I had the pleasure of dining at this adorable café on Sunset Blvd. I devoured a breakfast wrap that I still think about to this day.
The restaurant is no longer there, but I continue to make a slightly healthier version of the wrap from time to time and have no doubt it will be a hit with the kiddies. It’s delicious, quick and easy!

Holy guacamole!
November 14th is National Spicy Guacamole Day (not to be confused with National Guacamole Day, which is September 16th).
Some might find it odd to have two separate days devoted to guacamole, but I find it to be both appropriate and well-deserved. Here is why:
1. Guacamole is the most delicious dip in the history of appetizers. Seriously, have you ever met anyone who actively dislikes guacamole?
2. It's made with avocados, which are full of "good" fat (although I do not always feel that good after eating an entire bowl of guac).
Who doesn't love grilled cheese and tomato soup?
