Mother’s Day is almost here, and let’s face it, sometimes we like to give little “hints” to our loved ones about what special gifts we want for our special day! Or better yet, you can even treat yourself!
The Easter egg hunt is a classic tradition but there's nothing wrong with switching it up once in awhile! So why not give your family's egg hunt a clever new twist this year?
Here's a few of our favorite fun ideas:
Easter Coupon Egg Hunt
Instead of hiding jellybeans in the egg, try creating homemade coupons and stuffing it with those instead. The personalized coupons might be for a little extra TV time, an extra bedtime story, or a treat. It's a great alternative to sugary candies!
Matzah Brei (also spelled Matzoh Brei or Matza Brie) is a traditional Jewish dish made from matzah fried with eggs.
It's commonly eaten as a breakfast food or snack during Passover, when only unleavened bread is permitted. One of our staff members says this is his absolute favorite holiday dish!
Ingredients
4 sheets matzah bread
1/4 cup hot water
4 eggs
Butter or olive oil
Kosher salt and pepper
